Second class had lots of fun painting and creating different ‘Summer Scenes’. One scene was of a flamingo on the beach. Have a look at our painters in action!

Second class have being learning about fruit and vegetables and how good they are for our bodies. We have being encouraging each other to try some fruits and vegetables that we may not have tried before and we even got to taste some in our class.

It was a very special day for some of our second class girls this weekend when they made their First Holy Communion. Some of the girls read or took part in the procession and they all sang beautifully. We were so proud of them for all their hard work in preparing for their big day. […]

Second class have been learning all about volcanoes.  The did a science experiment to make a volcanic eruption. They drew a volcanic scene and even created their own volcanoes in paper mache.      

Second Class students have been practising mindfulness all year and are really perfecting the skill of being still and present in the middle of their busy days.

Second class made beautiful flowers to surprise their Mums on Mother’s Day. They put lots of care and effort into their creations. Have a look for yourself!  

Ms Lee’s class made the most of the spring sunshine this week and went outside to enjoy PE in the fresh air. The girls worked on strands of Athletics in small groups using circuits.
