6th Class had a great day at their graduation this week. They entertained their parents with their special memories of their time in primary school and enjoyed some cake afterwards. Well done to Emma Heffernan, who won this year’s ‘Student of the Year’.

In 6th class we are learning the safety skills required to cycle safely. We are learning about safety through control of the bike and awareness of surroundings to develop our bike skills. You can see here we are having great fun in the yard on our bikes!

Well done to our very own Spelling Bee, from 6th class as she represented Stanhope Street Primary at the annual Easons Spelling Bee Competition. She did very well and all her class are extremely proud of her!
We had a lovely day today at our confirmation. The weather stayed dry and we celebrated together with our families and friends. The school choir did a fantastic job singing the hymns for our special day!
Here are the winners of the chess tournament in 6th class that took place on Friday the 10th of March. It required intense concentration and skill whilst maintaining composure and poise at all times. Enjoyed by all!
Sixth class attended the ‘Wear a Bonnet’ event in Grangegorman on the 3rd of March. This event was to commemorate all the women who left Ireland bound for Australia in the 1850’s and who never returned home again.
