We run a Homework Club twice a week every term. This is free and open to all classes from First to Sixth. Your child is supervised and assisted with their homework by a teacher. Different classes are offered homework club each term.
Doodle Den is a free after-school literacy programme targeted at children in Senior Infants. The programme focuses on improving children’s literacy through a wide range of fun and interactive activities.
This is a free Family Literacy Programme aimed at offering first class children and their parents a space to engage with literacy in a fun way. The programme focuses on the family’s own experiences, with sessions being tailored to suit the needs of the individual groups.
Sibling Aftercare Club
An after-school club running throughout the year. The club is situated in our school . The group leaders collect junior and senior infant children at 1:40 and keep them entertained and engaged with fun activities and free play until their older siblings are finished school at 2.40. CTYI: Centre for Talented Youth Ireland
Some of our students attend CTY on a Saturday morning in DCU. CTY Ireland is the only dedicated centre in the country serving the needs of young people with high academic ability aged between 6 and 17. The Centre provides enrichment courses to help stimulate and challenge those students who fall into the top 5th percentile. (The Centre also provides courses for bright and motivated students).
