We have had a great few weeks caring for our caterpillars and watching them grow into butterflies. We observed the caterpillars everyday and watched them form their cocoons, just as we had learned about. Then after a few weeks, five beautiful butterflies came out of their cocoons! We fed them water and apples and when they were ready to fly, we released them outside. We were extremely gentle with our butterflies and we will be keeping an eye out for them during the summer!
