Congratulations to the following classes who won the Captain Active Award
January 2022
- 17/01/2022 – Ms Fraher’s Junior Infant Class for all the GoNoodles, Yoga, and skipping they took part in!
- 10/01/2022 – Ms O’Grady’s 6th Class for all the different sports activities they took part in during the week and all of the laps they ran in our new yard.
YoYo Prize Draw Winners:
For the end of term 1, the Active School Committee decided to have a raffle between all of the winners of Captain Active this term. The prize of the raffle was a yoyo for each child in the class! Well done to Ms McKenna’s 1st Class for winning the raffle!
December 2021
- 06/12/2021 – Ms Lyon’s 2nd/3rd Class for completing an active advent calendar and a GoNoodle each day!
- 13/12/2021 – Ms McKenna’s 1st Class for going on a walk each day this week and having an extra visit to the yard!

- 15/11/2021 – Ms Harron’s Senior Infant Class for having an extra visit to the yard and completing the school sensory walk!
- 22/11/2021 Mr Barret’s 1st class for completing a GoNoodle each day this week!
- 29/11/2021 – Ms McCabe’s Senior Infant Class for being active as Gaeilge each day this week!
