We are really enjoying Athletics and G.A.A this year. We are loving learning new skills and getting fit!
We will follow the S.T.A.R rules from now on! we learned so many important lessons about Internet safety and how to avoid cyber bullying at today’s workshop!
6th class took on a leadership roll this week as they organised and ran several experiments with the younger classes. They made lava lamps and Ooblek. They made mini fire extinguishers and experimented with skittles. Needless to say, they had an absolute blast all week long!
We celebrated Healthy Eating Week in Room 22 recently. We took part in a Zoom Call with Agri Aware to learn about the importance of eating fruit, vegetables and wholegrain foods. We celebrated Wellbeing Week in Stanhope Street on the 24th – 28th April. Our fantastic Wellbeing Student Committee worked so hard to organise fun and relaxing mindfullness activities. We are working towards earning an Amber Flag to promote Wellbeing in our school.
We have started the Food Dudes Programme in school. We have been exploring all different kinds of fruit and vegetables and trying our best to taste each one every day. We have been very excited about our prizes and we are enjoying trying our best to be healthy eaters!

We had so much fun in school the day before St. Patrick’s Day. We decorated cupcakes with green icing, rainbows and pots of gold!!! We even had a wedding for Patrick and Patricia (Indie and Ella’s felt creations)
