‘Twas days before Christmas when all through Stanhope, the excitement was building, the kids couldn’t cope!
Christmas songs were bouncing off of the walls, laughter was ringing throughout the halls.
Room 4 were getting ready – preparation was key! Like Santa’s little elves we were busy as could be.
Paintings were hung to dry on the rack, letters were written for toys in Santa’s sack.
Families called in for concerts to hear, (we hope that nobody had a pain in their ear!)
Off to the cinema we went for a treat, the smiles on our faces you just couldn’t beat!
We crossed our fingers and closed our eyes, as Tinsel our elf left us one last surprise.
“Goodbye Room 4 you will be missed and you are all on Santa’s extra good list!”
