Congratulations to the girls from Stanhope Street Primary on winning the Dublin Girls Primary Schools Chess Championships which was part of the Chessz Leagues. This was the first time to participate in a tournament against opponents from outside of the school. We had two teams participating with children from 4th, 5th and 6th classes. Team A came first and Team B came third in the championships.
The girls were a little nervous at the start but that was short lived as the girls played excellently throughout- well done ladies! We are very proud of you
