This month the Student Council organised Friendship Week in Stanhope Street Primary School. As part of this children from the various class levels took part in a variety of activities to foster kind, caring, and positive relationships.
The children participated in:
- Creating Friendship Bracelets
- Restorative Practice lessons and circles
- Designing and Decorating the corridors in friendship-themed displays
- Read aloud books on the theme of Friendship
- Teddy Bear’s Picnic- Senior pupils read stories to the infant classes
- Poetry and Songs on Friendships
- Fill Your Bucket Activity based on encouraging more kindness amongst classmates
- Mad Hair Day Competition
All the children enjoyed the experiences and we are proud of the work the Student Council put into the preparation and delivery of Friendship Week 2025.
