- What a spooky and spectacular month Room 4 had during October! We incorporated Halloween into our cross curricular learning including writing recipes for our Halloween rice krispie buns, exploring real pumpkins for science, completing Halloween patterns for maths, designing dancing skeletons for art, searching for the fáinne in the bairín breac for Gaeilge and having lots of fun in our Halloween haunted house and sensory tray for Aistear! We continued to strengthen and practice our fine motor skills during morning station through tweezer work, writing CVC words and Making 2D shapes with playdough. We all had a wonderful Halloween break and cannot wait to see what fun and learning is in store for November!
