In Room 12 we know that making jigsaws can help us become better readers, it is also fun to do! We had jigsaw time on Friday and even though it can be tricky, jigsaws teach us to stick with a task, we know we’ll get there in the end!

We are thrilled to be starting yoga with Paul again. Yoga helps us to relax and unwind from our busy school day. It also helps us to concentrate when we get back to class. Paul is fantastic and teaches us new yoga poses every week!

The boys and girls in Room 15 are really excited to finish ‘Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson. We have been learning all about books, authors, illustrators and concepts of print this month. This story has been our favourite so far!
The boys and girls in Ms. O’ Connor’s Junior Infants Class get the day off to a fun start with playtime. They have been getting to know each other since starting school only a few weeks ago and already firm friendships have been made!
The Leapfrog Class are off to a great start this September. We have been busy working and playing, and look forward to a great year!!
Today we got to decorate cupcakes in room 5. We made sure to follow every step carefully First we chose our cupcake. Next we decorated with pink or chocolate icing. After that we added sprinkles. Finally we got to enjoy our creations. Yummy!
We are delighted to be back in school and have kicked off September with lots of activities. The boys and girls in Room 15 love being active and we had great fun playing lots of different games in PE so far this month.
