Our New School

On the 1st of September 2014 we opened the doors to our fabulous new school building. That morning the excitement and heartfelt buzz could be felt amongst pupils, parents and staff alike. It was a great day for the community. Therefore, to say we are proud with our new school is an understatement!

Throughout the school, we have state-of-the-art facilities to offer to our pupils and the local community. The fantastic facilities in our school gives each child the best opportunity to reach their own potential and thrive in a safe, warm, happy environment.

Our facilities consist of:

18 spacious classrooms with modern furniture, storage and toilet facilities. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and three computer stations
8 learning support rooms fully equipped to suit any learning needs of our pupils
A fully equipped computer room with interactive whiteboards, laptops and ipads
A bright, colourful library superbly resourced with books of all genres to suit every age group
A parent’s room which has cooking facilities, computer facilities, an interactive whiteboard and a welcoming space for parental classes
A Home School Liaison Office offering comfort and privacy for parental meetings
A music room fully furnished with an extensive array of musical instruments
Chess facilities for whole class use
A general purpose hall used for assemblies, PE, yoga and GAA
A lift for use between the three floors of our school
Wide airy corridors with wheelchair access toilets
2 outdoor basketball courts
An expansive hall with a stage for school performances and the school orchestra
A courtyard that offers a place for pupils to enjoy outdoor learning experiences

Our New Yard and Courtyard

In December 2021 we got a brand new School Yard and Courtyard for our School. Ms Delaney was very busy fundraising for a new Courtyard and Yard for us. We are so happy with how it turned out. There are lots of different games and activities to play and we won’t hurt ourselves if we fall, as it is so soft. We are just delighted with it. We know how important exercise is in our school, and we look forward to doing lots of exercise here. Take a look at the pictures below!
