The Entrepreneurial School Awards (TESA)
We are a TESA certified school. The Entrepreneurial School Awards (TESA) recognises outstanding commitment to entrepreneurship education, defined as all educational activities ‘that seek to prepare people to be responsible, enterprising individuals who have the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to prepare them to achieve the goals they set for themselves to live a fulfilled life’ (Entrepreneurship Education: A road to success. European Commission 2015).
Our school attained the silver standard in The Entrepreneurial School Awards (TESA) in 2019. During the year, the students participated in a range of activities and projects based around the idea of entrepreneurship education. For example, some of our students went to Trinity College and gave presentations on their future career aspirations. They also went to visit different places of business around Dublin. It was a very enriching experience which was enjoyed by all of the students that took part
